CoASH is the source of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is the main energy-transfer molecule of the metabolism and it is used in all biomolecule synthesis, at growing and development states of the plant. Met and Cys are key amino acids in protein formation which are related to cell lignification, thus increasing vegetal tissue. As a consequence, the plant is able to enhance resistance to external stresses.
